Friday
Arrivals
The easiest way to get here will be by car. If you would like to carpool, let us know on the RSVP form and we can help you organise with other guests. There is plenty of parking at the venue, so everyone should have a space. Feel free to arrive any time after 15:00
Evening
We are planning to have dinner down in the village of Braunton. This is about a 30 min walk or 5 min drive from Ash Barton. This will be the only meal across the weekend that we're asking guests to pay for. More details soon.
Saturday
Morning
The easiest way to get here will be by car. If you would like to carpool, let us know on the RSVP form and we can help you organise with other guests. There is plenty of parking at the venue, so everyone should have a space.
Wedding
Breakfast will be self serve in the kitchen and is open for all guests even if they're staying off site. If you are staying off site arrival time is anytime before 11am.
We are having the ceremony at 11.30am in the chapel which is part of Ash Barton. This will be a humanist ceremony and will follow a fairly traditional format but without hymns or prayers.
The ceremony will be followed by drinks and some photographs. We will then move to the Great Barn for the Wedding Breakfast and speeches. Meal options will be sent out with formal invites.
Reception
Following the Wedding Breakfast you will have a few hours of social time, garden games and wedding cake.
We will then return to the barn for a Ceilidh, followed by evening fish and chips and our own music into the early hours.
Sunday
Morning/Recovery Period
Breakfast will again be in the kitchen to be grabbed. The morning can be spent nursing hangovers, swimming in the indoor pool or going for a walk in the countryside.
Noon
Lunch will be pizzas and BYOB followed by some relaxed mandatory fun!
Evening
For dinner, the Dads will be booting up the BBQ. In the afternoon we will have a fete with games and fun.
In the afternoon we will have some garden games arranged in addition to all of the venues entertainment facilities.
Monday
Morning
We are asking guests to leave by 10am on Monday morning so we can tidy up and give the keys back. Hopefully you'll have had a great time!
