In deepest, darkest Devon there is a house.
We will be holding our wedding at the beautiful Grade II listed, Ash Barton Estate. This is where we will have the ceremony, reception, and entertain our guests during the extended celebration over multiple days.
The house and grounds are gorgeous and exclusively ours for the whole long weekend. Some parts of the house date back to the 15th Century but make no mistake this isn't a museum or a stately home with frowning members of staff. The house is made to be enjoyed and lived in.
The House
This is where the bridal party and some guests will be staying but the reception rooms are open to everyone, at any time of the day or night.
There is a huge lounge with lots of comfy sofas, the perfect place to get have a catch up with friends or play a board game.
There is also a large kitchen where we will keep breakfast supplies for guests to help themselves each morning.
The Chapel
We will be using this space for our ceremony. It looks like a shabby chic chapel but is a secular space. We will be having a humanist ceremony. We ask guests to not use this space until the ceremony.
The Barn
This is the space where we will have the wedding breakfast and the evening reception. We ask guests to not use this space until the wedding breakfast.
